Fire and Explosion Investigation Experience

Among the numerous fire and explosion investigations Ryan Engineering has performed:

- Dust and wood fiber explosions ignited by static electricity.
- Fuel and ignition sources in propane and gasoline tanker truck fires.
- Automobile and ATV fires.
- Component defects - Propane and gas fueled furnaces and heaters.
- House fires involving electric blankets, halogen lamps, and household appliances.
- Suspected arson fires.

Non-Combustion Related Explosion Experience

- Homeowner-type air compressor tank explosion.
- Pressurized water tank on a concrete truck.
- Industrial ammonia tank explosion.
- Explosions / failures of tanks, valves, hoses, and pipes pressurized by air, steam and water.
