Our design experience with industrial machinery, and our experience in incidents involving industrial accidents has resulted in extensive analysis and development of guarding and warning systems. We write warnings and design safety systems for equipment we design. Ryan Engineering has retrofitted safety devices on existing machinery, has interlocked controls with safety systems to prevent accidental actuation of machinery, and has designed warning devices to alert machine operators of unsafe conditions. We have defended good designs, and criticized bad ones. We know the difference.

Our industrial guarding, equipment design, and OSHA expert is Russ Rasnic, PE. He has worked as a plant engineer and a plant manager for a number of years, has taught engineering classes at the university level, and is experienced with industrial accident investigations and prevention.

Our warnings and controls expert is Dr. John Morse, PE. Dr. Morse is has taught engineering for a number of years, worked in industrial maintenance, published on several subjects, analyzed many accidents, and designed warnings.
